Last month, Feadship’s latest flagship, the 101-meter superyacht Moonrise , made a grand entrance into Gibraltar on her maiden voyage, capturing the attention of the global yachting community. Delivered in July 2025, Moonrise is not just another luxury yacht; it is a statement of elegance, innovation, and sustainability that pushes the boundaries of yacht design and performance. The Ultimate Guide to Boat Surface Protection: Ceramic, Graphene, and Wax Coatings Explained

Image
Owning a private yacht or recreational boat in North America or Europe is more than just a status symbol; it’s an integral part of many families’ vacation and water sports activities. However, maintaining the pristine look and condition of a boat is no easy task. In recent years, new technologies have revolutionized the boat care market. While traditional wax products remain popular, emerging ceramic coatings and graphene nano-coatings have become mainstream for those seeking high-e...

From the moment the fleet departed Kiel, Germany, Biotherm established control and never let go, navigating complex coastal waters, light-air transitions, and intense tactical battles. But what unfolded behind them made this opening leg an unforgettable start to the six-week offshore marathon. The start of Leg 1 was marred by a dramatic collision within the first mile of racing. In a chaotic and congested start, two of the race’s top contenders—Italy’s Allagrande MAPEI and Switzerland’s Holcim PRB—collided violently, forcing both boats to return to port for urgent repairs. The damage was extensive. Allagrande MAPEI was left with a torn J0 headsail, a shredded mainsail, and significant structural damage to the starboard rigging and chainplate.  Repairing the chainplate even required dismantling the interna...
